Originally from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Whitney is the youngest of 5 in a long line of fisherman. This is not the first venture into the bait and tackle business for Jones. He owned a similar store in Kitty Hawk, N.C., before moving to Sanibel. "I came for the 12 months of beautiful weather and the great fishing year round," said Jones, who was employed at Sanibel's Bait Box for eight years before striking out on his own, again. "I am a full-time fish guy." Jones is a lifelong, passionate angler, who has built a life around fishing. Also a local guide and master rod-builder, Jones has been designing hand crafted rods for more than 20 years to catch anything from the deepest bluewater marlin to the shallowest inshore gamefish!

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Sanibel Charter Captain Jarrett Jones is the nephew to Whitney & carries on the tradition of fishing in the Jones family. Jarrett operates his 23' C-Hawk flats boat for his charter guests. With a 14 degree dead-rise hull, this model shows off C-Hawk’s capabilities – giving you a better ride in rough waters. Originally from Dover, Massachusetts, Captain Nate has been fishing the waters of Sanibel & the surrounding area for the past 10 years. Nate operates his 25' Souther Cross flats boat for his charter guests. Beamy, Stable, and Simple best describe the Southern Cross Line.
